G.N. Kazi

Kazi\'s water color paintings depicting street scences from cities of Sind in Pakistan dominating domes on mosques ubiquitous in the streets of Pakistan. His explorations of streets with older buildings in older parts of cities has produced limit-exceeding works which are best described as common day street. The slashes and dashes in his paintings and directional strokes and streaks typify his style in his unrestrained exploration of texture, time and light and the dynamic physical connection between the work and his style of hurling colors on paper to come up with a very tidy street scene.
